Kate's pets?

Should I be worried that Katelyn's new pets are balloons?

Yes I said balloons. Pet balloons.

 

 

No, I'm not really worried, it actually

makes me smile and giggle!

 

 

Guess what they "eat"? Air, haha! That's an air purifier that on the floor and the balloons float on the air clean air coming out. Katelyn constantly rotates them so they each get fed.

 

This kid has quite the imagination and cracks me up!

Home schooling

Connor wasn't feeling so great early this week and missed a day and a half of school. His teacher sent home a bunch of work to do so he wouldn't fall behind. For a little bit Connor and I were doing work in front of the cozy fire and I found myself thinking how nice it would be to homeschool in front of the fire on a regular basis.
Then came in Ben and reminded me how easily distracted I get! I enjoyed it while it lasted though!

Maggie's 7!!!

Maggie turned 7!!! 

She wanted a pool party with some of her friends, cause you know she doesn't get to swim much! (Haha, that was a joke, the girl is in the water all the time!)  It was a lot of fun for my girl!

Chris spent the whole time in the deep end hanging out with the kids jumping off the diving board.  That guy is a great Daddy!

Nana stayed in the shallow end keeping an eye on kids!  I'm not sure what we would do with out her!

Yesterday I walked around the corner and saw two of my monkeys in a spontaneous staircase snuggle! Oh how my heart loves those moments!
