Fair time

It's fall and one of the things that comes along with fall is the fairs. We love a good fair! I wish they weren't so darned expensive though, we would go to more of them.

Last weekend we went to one of the fairs and had a really great time.

Here are a few pictures of our adventures...

Ben LOVED the lemonade and held on TIGHT when anyone tried to take it away!

Maggie tried the "jumpy thingy" and seemed to like it a little but she wasn't able to get very high. Give her a couple more years and I bet she will be doing flips in the air.

Maggie and Katelyn went on a roller coaster and really enjoyed their ride.

Then Chris talked Katelyn into going on a "big ride" with him and although she was nervous she trusted her daddy.

Well, I think it will be a loooooooong time before she trusts him with such a thing again. She cried and cried on the ride and for a few minutes after. Chris hugged her near and I almost ran up to tell the guy to turn the ride off! I think we will wait on the "big rides" for a few more years.

Connor enjoyed the jumpy thingy too and, unlike Maggie, was able to get some pretty good height going.

WHEEE.... This is the only "ride" Ben went on today. The BIG GIANT slide. So fun.

Then we got to go see all the animals. See this cute, adorable baby cow??? The kids didn't think he was quite as cute when he had yucky poops right after I took this picture and it splattered on their legs.

Ben was so brave with the goats. I was surprised that he was willing to get down and hang out with the goats. He doesn't usually like to be close to animals, he just loves them from afar.

And Maggie, oh how sweet, this mommy and baby goat. Loved them!
