Wearing my heart

This is a quote I had heard before I had kids and thought I understood. I didn't. But now I do.

When I look at these four kids my heart skips beats. I love them more then life itself.


A love that only another parent could truly understand. A love that actually causes a physical reaction to my insides when I really think about it.

As Elizabeth Stone wrote, my heart now walks around outside my body.

And I am pretty sure it always will...
