He actually bought them for Katelyn's best friend Ryley and her little sister Addy to give to one of their other sisters, Delaney, when she broke her arm a couple of weeks ago.We were all at Katelyn and Ryley's softball game when Delaney fell off the monkey bars and broke her wrist. It was a very obvious break and needed to be attended to right away. Luckily the coach from the other team is a ER doctor and splinted up her arm while everyone helped to get her mom ready to go. I offered to take her other girls home with me so after the game we headed back to our house.
When Chris took Connor to the grocery store that afternoon he saw the flowers and said he wanted to buy them for the girls to give to their sister.
I thought that was just so very thoughtful and kind of him! And it sure made Ryley and Addy happy to give their sister a beautiful surprise! She needed a surprise too since she had a fracture in one wrist bone and completely snapped the other wrist bone in half. Thankfully kids heal quickly so she should be back to her old self in just a few weeks!
