We went on a long road trip recently so the girls could go camping with my aunt and her grandaughter. The boys and I stayed in a hotel and had other adventures.
The first day we were there we went to a place called Santa's Village and the kids loved it! Julia, my niece, came too so that made it so much more fun.
I took lots of pictures of the kids being goofy and just having so much fun! Like this one, where they are sitting on a cow so I can take a picture for my sister, Jen, because she is terrified of cows. It was Julia and Connor's idea, I don't tease my sister about her fear any more. The last time I did I ended up having about 50 flies in my van which I figured was karma biting me in the behind!
I digress....
We met Santa's reindeer which was so cool! Their antlers are so soft.
The kids rode on all kinds of rides.
This one was the first ride and Chris went on with all four kids while Julia and I watched and took pictures.
Ben laughed and laughed the biggest belly laugh the whole time!
The next time I went on it (not pictured here, obviously) since it looked to be not so crazy. I'm not a big fan of rides. Well, it was more then I bargined for but the kids thought it was so funny that I went on. Of course the kids and Julia were on the other side and since there was no more seats for me I was on the other side by myself! After a few times of it going up and DROPPING QUICKLY DOWN the man in controll lowered it and asked everyone if they wanted to go again. Everyone on the ride enthusiastically shouted yes! While I quitely whispered that I wasn't gonna be the wimp that said no so I was tortured lucky enough to go again!
At one point mid afternoon the sky got dark very quickly and we were hit with a big thunder storm! We stayed in a covered area with a million other people, like sardines, until the worst of it passed. The kids were not deterred in the least and we went back to having fun as soon as we could. Soaking wet and all!
This was my favorite ride! We went down at least four times. So much fun and I LOVE the expressions in the pictures that were taken!

Had a WONDERFUL DAY at Santa's village and it was the perfect start to a great weekend!!!!
