After many days (weeks?) of rain the sun came out and an unusually warm day blessed us!
The big kids were in school (boo) so it was just Ben and I.
We hit our local park and ended up going to the river and bridge that lays beside it.
It was so nice I took Ben's shoes off and rolled up his pants!
He tried fishing, with a stick and then his hand. He didn't have any luck though.
But that didn't get this guy down! Actually I think if he actually caught one in his hand he would have screamed and tossed it down quick, haha!
Just as we were about to leave our friend Bailey and her mom showed up so we decided to stay instead of heading home for a nap!
After all, who wants to nap when the weather is just perfect? Although we kinda paid for that choice when he was a grump later!
