Over the last couple years we have been able to do scopes just once a year. This time was a bummer because the scope showed active disease in the lower esophagus.
This scope wasn’t quite as good as past ones because they treated Ben like a big kid and made him get an IV while awake. It made it pretty hard. Not to mention the Covid rules, hence the mask.
We added an extra dose of reflux meds and will rescope in July. I pray his esophagus looks better!
