Jenna D tournament

 Maggie’s team hosted and participated in the Jenna D softball tournament this past weekend.

Jenna was a fantastic softball player who played for The Gems for years and graduated high school last spring.  She was the number one pitcher in the state and had a full ride scholarship to college that she was supposed to start last fall.  No one can understand why this talented young lady that had a whole life in front of her decided to end her life.  It was devastating and confusing for her family, the softball family and the community.

This tournament was in memory of her and the money raised was going towards a scholarship and some was being donated to a charity that Jenna truly believed in.  It was a beautiful weekend but would have been more beautiful if Jenna was there.  

Katelyn came home from college Saturday night and was there when we got home. 

These three have played softball together for years now. I love watching Juliana, Jayden, and Maggie play for club ball and school ball.
