A patriotic cast

We went to see the orthopedic doctor today about Katelyn's wrist.
Katelyn, Mister Dog, Ben and I waited..... and waited, and waited to see the doctor, guess they were behind or something.

When she came in she explained that she actually isn't convinced that it is broken because it is such a small spot. The xray showed "something" but not a clear cut break. However, because of the swelling, and that Katelyn is "feeling pain in all the right places" when the doctor did different things she wants to treat it as though it is broken.

So Katelyn picked out the cast she wanted. Of course being the patriotic person that I am I was thrilled with her choice!

She figures Grammy is going to love the choice she made too, since Grammy loves all things Red/White/and blue.

So for the next two weeks, yep just two weeks, Katelyn will be wearing this patriotic cast. Then we will go back, xray it again, and hopefully see that the "spot" is gone so when we hit the beach at the end of the month we won't have to worry about sand and sea creatures getting into her cast!
