As you can tell by the pictures Ben wanted no part in having pictures taken because although he didn't know what was going on he just wanted to get a move on!
I did get a pretty good picture of the three older kids though!
Katelyn was a soccer playing vampire! Yikes, she played that part a little too good.
Connor made the BEST Harry Potter I have ever seen! He fit the part perfectly!
Maggie was a beautiful "winter princess". She had a Disney princess costume that she was going to wear but changed her mind when she saw this Christmas dress two days before Halloween. She looked beautiful, oh, and she was a lot warmer!
We all walked up and down our street doing some trick-or-treating. Well, technically Ben drove.
Sweet Katelyn would hold Ben's hand and walk him up to doors so he could get his treat. He was in awe over this whole process.
Then after our street Ben and I headed back to our house to pass out candy, eh, pretzels actually. Ben loved giving out the candy to all the kids! He didn't get nervous at all about the costumes, not even the scary masks, so that was great.
What fun we all had! The big kids had 5, yes FIVE, Ziploc gallon bags full of candy when the night was over. Way more than we need for sure so yesterday each of them picked out 25 pieces that they wanted to keep and sold the rest to me for 5 cents each. We are going to pack them up and send all of it off to the military and I am going to see if the children's hospital would like some as Katelyn wants kids to have it that couldn't go trick-or-treating. Great idea Kate!
I love my kids, I am so proud of them for sharing and thinking of other people!
OMG, Connor really looked liked Harry Potter! Very cool! The kids all looked great!
