Indian summer

Man do I love me some Indian summer! The rare days in late fall along with the ones from early spring (which aren't technically Indian Summer) that are warm are some of my favorite days.

They are kind of like a little tease but I'll take 'em! Like last week when the kids got off the bus and the temp was in the 70s.

The kids all had such an energy to them and big happy smiles.

Some even had bare legs and naked feet.

And although Maggie would probably go out in the middle of the winter like this it is most likely the last time this year it will actually be appropriate.

Maggie made this beautiful creation. This is one of the times I am awe struck at the amazing beauty in such simplicity.

And yay, I actually got a good picture of Connor! As the matter of fact I got quite a few. He was cooperating with me and my camera. Must be the warm Indian weather day.

We even discovered a fairy house in the bottom of one of our trees.

I hope the fairies enjoyed the beautiful day as much as we did!
