A day at the farm

Last Saturday when we woke up Chris mentioned that we should go to a farm that we love, and have a family membership to. I thought it was a great idea!
A little while later when I sat down to nurse Ben I turned the news on to check out the weather. It just so happened that at that moment the news was talking about all the fun stuff that would be going on at the farm that day!
The kids all got a set of bunny ears, actually we all got a set of bunny ears.
There was an Easter egg hunt that included lots of candy!

We were able to see an owl fly over to this man and eat a mouse right out of his hand. EEEWWW! At least I thought it was yucky but the owl disagreed with me, lol.

The kids looked for some frogs. They spotted a few but were under strict orders from Chris and I that there would be NO catching of frogs.

We went on a nice relaxing hay ride all around the back fields of the farm. There was also a quick "train" ride that went around parts of the farm.

Each of the older kids got to take a ride on a pony...

Which was a lot of fun after a long wait in line!

Ben and Chris decided to stay outside of the goat pen and feed them through the fence.

Ben was in awe over all of the animals, especially the ones that were on eye level!

The other kids were in awe over the animal babies. Although there weren't too many born yet. A whole bunch of the goats looked ready to POP at any minute though!

What a great start to our season of going to the farm! The weather was just beautiful! And we had the best time with our wonderful children!
