Easter Sunday

Easter Sunday was such a nice day. The three older kids woke up way too early to find a note from the Easter Bunny. She, or he, hid some surprises that the kids had to find. It didn't take long before they found the hidden treasures and had everyone else in the house wide awake. Because, even though the note said to be quiet as a bunny, the excitement over took them!

We went downstairs to find that the bunny had also hidden lots of eggs to be hunted!

There was waaaaaaay to much candy in the eggs!

But a few of the eggs held sweet little chicks and stretchy reptiles. I just love this picture of Maggie gently holding her chick!

Ben didn't care too much at all about hunting for eggs but he did love the punching bag balloons that the kids got. Chris would blow it up and hand it to Ben. Then Ben would slowly let the air out. He thought it was so funny when it would blow right on his face and hair. Then he would push the deflated balloon back into Chris' hands to blow up again.

Early afternoon we headed to Nana and Pa's house for an egg hunt and a yummy dinner with Chris' cousins and their families!

Allison was awe-stuck everytime I went to take a picture of her, lol! Look at those beautiful curls!

Here is one of the very rare moments that Chris was able to sit and relax, mostly he was following a baby or watching kids at the frog pond.

It took a while but Ben finally found the eggs that Nana "hid" for him. They were in plain sight but Ben just didn't have a lot of interest for a while. He preferred to watch the dog.
He really liked the treasure he found and tried very hard to get it back into the egg...

Any guesses on what is in the bucket????

If you have read my blog since the beginning I bet you can guess. If not, it may be a little harder for you.

Tadpole eggs! My three older Monkeys are BIG TIME FROG HUNTERS! Today they didn't find any frogs but they did find the eggs that hold the future frogs they will find.

I just couldn't get over how big Ben looked in this outfit, and how adorable. As the matter of fact, he wore it to the farm the day before and I washed it so he could wear it again on Easter.

After lots of hard work Pa finally got a chance to sit and relax with Ben. Well, for a minute anyway!

What a great Easter spent in the beautiful sunshine with wonderful family!! I just wish I had taken more pictures!
